I have been married to Lee Christianson for 46 years.  We have two daughters and three granddaughters.  I retired three years ago from my position as Professor of Mathematics at the University of the Pacific where I also served as Chair of the Department for 6 years.  My husband and I have been traveling extensively since retirement and also fixing up our older home.

Over the past 50 years highlights in my life are my two daughters, my three granddaughters and the fun I have had teaching mathematics.  I enjoy reading, gardening and genealogy.  Travel has been important and we just returned from Egypt and Jordan.  My older daughter teaches Computer Science at a state college and her sister is a reference librarian.  My brother, David, and sisters Joan, Carolyn and Bonnie, are still alive and we enjoy visiting each other.

I have lived in 3 places since graduating from Central, the longest in Stockton, CA for 42 years.  Our other homes were in Illinois and Arizona for graduate school.  We spent time also in Minnesota at research stations on sabbaticals.  We ended up in Stockton when after graduate school my husband got a teaching position at the University of the Pacific.  Then I also got hired at the University and we both got tenured and so stayed.  We hoped to move back to the Midwest but teaching positions for two people at the same university are hard to find.

My favorite teachers were the math and science faculty, Mr. Evju and Mr. Pletan, in particular.  I enjoyed the debate team experiences with teammates Dawn Day and Karen Pearson.  My parents lived in Grand Forks until they died and we still have many relatives in the area so we have visited often.

I've been married to Dennis Black for 48 years.  We have 3 sons and 4 grandchildren.

I worked in retail, 11 years in the cosmetic industry.  I created and operated "Exquisitely Yours", three retail shops specializing in fine crystal, jewelry and antique reproductions.  I also worked in commercial decor. We own and operate a family business (husband and three sons) that keeps me involved in many ways.

The birth and raising of our three wonderful sons has to be the number one highlight of a very active and exciting life.  Then came the birth of the grandchildren, Adam 17, twins Kaiya and Dane 9 and step grandson Shawn 22. My husband's career exposed us to many cultures and as a result we have developed many friendships around the world. We are truly an international family as we have daughters-in-law from Brazil, Croatia and one of Japanese descent.

We do many things together as a family as we all live close together in the state of Florida.  Through the years I have been able to travel with close girl friends including my sisters.  My hobbies are cooking, swimming, decorating and gardening. Most of my time is spent at our church. Currently my husband and I are in charge of local mission work. We enjoy spending summers at our cottage on Grace Lake in Minnesota.

We have lived in 11 states, mostly on the East Coast. The longest was in Florida for 14 years.  We started our family business in Florida.

Some of my favorite memories from Central High days include dancing parties at Patty Fosters,Hob Nobs and Pot Luck.  My favorite teacher was Mr. Bonhoff.  To this day I thank Wayne Toscas for helping me get through biology class.  This had to be a lot of work to put together, thank you Susan.

I have been married to Tim Bonlie for 34 years.  We had 2 boys, James age 38 and David age 41 who is deceased Jan 2009.  We have one grandchild, Haleigh, age 12.

I am semi-retired in Home Health Care and was a medical secretary for 27 years.  I had Alice Boen for a shorthand teacher and took care of her from 1996-2000 after she had a stroke.  She became part of our family.

Over the past 50 years some of the most important highlights include marriage and being a step-mom to two wonderful boys from ages 4 and 7, being a foster parent to twins from 4 months to 9 months and picking their adoptive parents and becoming their godparents and part of their lives.  They are now 19.

I enjoy working with my many flowers in my yard, spending time with my dogs and cat and anyone elses animals.  I love all outside animals...I feed the birds, rabbits and squirrels year-round.  I take my dogs to retirement and nursing homes nearly every day.  I have a special nephew, Matt Farmer, who spends a lot of time with Tim and me.  My favorite fun place to visit is Las Vegas.  A great thing about being a care giver to the elderly is interacting with so many lovely families.

I have lived in Grand Forks most of the time since graduating from Central.  I spent a short time in San Diego, CA and Burnsville, MN.  I probably would have moved to Spokane, WA after my marriage to Tim in 1975 but I took care of both of my parents when they both became disabled.

Some of my favorite memories from Central High days include dancing during lunch break at the Y, potluck get togethers and hobnobs.

I'm the mother of four children and have seven grandchildren.  I'm still working.  I have been a secretary at a community mental health center for 23 years.

Some of my most important highlights over the past 50 years include moving to Denver, CO; my four children; co-founding a community theater group

Some of my favorite things to do include community theater, traveling the US and abroad, Icon painting, reading, walking and yoga. Classes and workshops on varied topics - never too late to learn!  I've lived in 4 places since graduating from Central, the longest in Denver for 38 years. My former husband went to work for the Federal Government in Denver.

My favorite memories of Central include plays and musicals, pep rallies, Home Ec class, Earth Science class, Art class with Mrs. Bowen, and time with my friends.  Who knew how life would turn out?  What an adventure!

I have been married to Becki for 20 years.  I have 1 child and 3 grandchildren.  I retired from my dental practice in 2007.  I developed a tremor (not good for a dentist) and it seems to screw up my putting stroke.

I enjoy golf, wine collecting (and consuming), travel, gardening, time with our two Australian Shepherd dogs.  My daughter, Geri, and her hubby, Peter have 3 kids and live in the Minneapolis area.

Since graduating from Central I have lived in Chicago, Louisiana and San Diego.  I ended up in California because I thought I wanted to live there and have been here for 40 years.

Some of my favorite memories from Central High days are Hob Nobs at the YWCA, golf team events, all the many social events and airport road.

I was married to my wife, Shirley, for 18 years.  We divorced in 1982.  I have two children and two grandchildren.  I am working with professional photographers selling ink jet photo printers; monitors; photo editing software; film scanners and other digital imaging equipment.  I also provide technical support to users of this equipment.

Over the past 50 years some of the most important highlights in my life include two kids and two grand kids; coming back in one piece (physically and mentally) from Vietnam; becoming skilled in the art of digital imaging.  Photography is my main hobby.  In particular abstract photography of cars.  My son and his wife are teachers.  My daughter is a naturalist at a wildlife center here in the Bay Area.  Grand daughter Kalia is seven and grand daughter Jori is four.  Kaila through weekly riding lessons, is becoming quite a little horse rider.  Jori is very excited about gymnastics.  I do volunteer work with the elderly living in skilled care facilities.  I try to help them meet personal needs that their care facility normally doesn't deal with.  As an example, helping a woman edit a manuscript she's writing.

I have lived in six places since graduating from Central.  I've lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for 32 years, in Berkeley for the last 15 of those years.  I ended up in California because the father of a friend I served with in Vietnam was retiring from the real estate business they ran in Berkeley.  My friend wrote me to ask if I wanted to come to California to help him with the business.  I, of course, said yes.  "And the rest is history."  Well almost history.  About 10 years ago he closed the business.  It was at that time that I got involved in digital photography and my current employment.

Some of my favorite memories from Central High days are the Saturday night hop at the YWCA; Jacoby's drive-in; basketball games in the old gym...freezing our butts (but loving it) at hockey games; going to "Submarine Races".

I have been married to Roy Gohlman since 1962.  Roy is also a graduate of UND.  Roy was in the Air Force which meant we have lived in several places including Mississippi, Montana, Guam, Kong, Taiwan and Okinawa in the Far East and Tennessee.

I taught 31 1/2 years in the elementary grade classroom in Harrison County School District in Biloxi, Mississippi.  I retired in May of 2000.      We moved to Maryville, Tennessee after Katrina.  The things that I remember most is my life is my wonderful wedding to Roy in 1962 and our trips overseas plus living through all the hurricanes on the Gulf coast for over 37 years.  The last one was it for us.

I'm now keeping myself busy with crocheting and knitting for nursing homes and other missions for the church.  I'm learning how to  play the piano at my age, if you can believe it.   Love to read and keep active with church activities.   Also go to a health center for pool therapy.   I still have a sister Barbara Grant living in GF, and Roy has a sister Janet Dolleslager in Thompson ND and we have no children.

I have been married to Richard Schwartz for 43 years.  We have 2 children, Michael, age 40 and Kristen, age 37.  We have 3 grandchildren ages 4, 2, and 1.  I taught English and Social Studies  for five years in the Chicago North Shore area after graduation from Northwestern University, B.A. and M.A. Spent next 15 years raising children and doing volunteer work for the Children's Home and Aid Society of Illinois and as a docent for the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago.

When the children left for college I opened a book store with two friends in Glencoe, IL, a suburb of Chicago.  Our store sponsored the founding of Writers' Theatre Chicago-it performed in the back of our store - and still does.  We sold the store 5 years ago.  Dick and I built a home in Whitefish, MT.  We live here year round and travel as much as possible.  Our daughter and family also live in Whitefish.  Our son and family live in Chicago.

My husband, children and grandchildren are probably the three highlights of our life in the last 50 years.  But, we enjoy good health, were able to build to the home of our dreams in an area we love, and have travelled extensively.  Our favorite things to do include travel, cooking, golf for Dick, being with our children and grandchildren frequently and spoiling our two dogs. I read a great deal and enjoy discovering new authors.

I lived in the Chicago area since attending college there.  We stayed in the area until 5 years ago when we moved to Montana.  I was born in Montana so I did have some connections to the area. Dick grew up in Indiana, was in the service after college for two years and ended up in Chicago which is where I met him.
I lived in the Chicago area for 45 years; basically lived in Glencoe, a suburb of Chicago.  We built a second home here in Whitefish about 10 years ago - liked it and built a full time residence.

Central High was a fine place to be in the 50's.   My friends were really good friends.  Many of the teachers were exceptional like Doc Winters and Mr. Sherwood.  There were probably many embarrassing moments but none of them did permanent damage.
