I've been married to Emilia Jonsdottir for 46 years.  We have 2 children, two grand children and 1 great step grandson.  I am a Loss Control Manager for a company in the Minneapolis area.  We provide safety engineering and loss control surveys for insurance companies for all sorts of commercial exposures in a 6 state area.  I am in the office 1 or 2 days a week and in the field the balance of the time.  I oversee and approve reports of others, product quality control, training, inventory balances and deadlines.  Emmy retired from UND  but goes back each winter to work part time at Hannah Andersson (children's wear) at the Albertville Premium Outlets across the highway from us.

I still paint, but there doesn't seem to be the time I would like for that.  Hobbies include anthropology and archaeology which influences our travels.  We continue to travel around the world. Shortly after getting married (in 1963) to Emilia of Reykjavik, Iceland, the two of us began making regular trips to Iceland and travelling in that country.  Twenty-five years ago we expanded our independent travels to the rest of the world and have now been in over 50 different countries (Europe, Asia-Near East, Middle East and Far East), their capital cities and countryside.  In the spring of '08 we moved into an apartment for about 3 months in a lovely little village on the Mediterranean Sea (Costa Brava) in Spain about 45 miles North of Barcelona and 45 miles South of France.  Our balcony was right on a sandy beach beneath medieval castle walls.  We traveled the area extensively.  This year we will explore the Atlantic coastlines of France, Spain and Northern  Portugal.  We have had many exciting adventures and look forward to many more yet to come.

We have two daughters and three grandkids, including a step-grandson, (grandson 15, granddaughter 6, step-grandson 18) who has been in our lives sin
ce he began walking.  I have one sister, Marilyn, living in Thompson, ND.  And, I still have an aquarium - although now much easier than when I was younger….it now just has fancy guppies and plastic plants.

I have only lived in 2 places since graduating from Central, Grand Forks and Albertville, MN, the latter since 2001.  Both of our daughters and their families live in Albertville and when a series of opportunities were provided and fell into place to make the move, we took it!  We kept out lake properti
es North of Bemidji, MN and everyone gets together there weekends during the summer.  Emmy and I spend many "working" weeks and long weekends there as well.
Some of my favorite memories from Central High days are cruising' round the school building with the car over noon-hour, going to the "Y" across the street at noon, cruising the drive-ins weekend nights and Maple Lake Pavilion dances.  The same day we learned the location for our reunion we booked reservations at the listed hotel and anticipate another great time getting together with everyone again.

I enjoy quilting, charted cross-stitch, reading, attending Major League Baseball parks; travel - Africa, Italy; son Tim 3 kids, daughter Kris 4 kids

We have been married for 48 years, have 2 sons both living in the Seattle area and 2 grandsons.  Bonnie will be retiring as President of BECU trust Company in Seattle in mid 2009.  However, she already has a retirement position working as an independent Personal Financial Consultant for a consulting firm that has a contract with the Department of Defense.  The new position creates flexibility in time, location and travel, including international travel.  Bonnie's dream job was always to get paid to do some international travel.  Depending on locations, Dennis will be able to join her on various trips.  Dennis retired due to disability 9 years ago.  He was Service Director of an automobile dealership in the Seattle area.  While living in Grand Forks, he also spent most of his working time as a service manager for an automobile dealership.  Even though Dennis has limited mobility, he prefers being busy.  Therefore he has done volunteer work for Seattle Senior Services for the past 8 years.

Over the past 50 years some of our highlights include Bonnie going back to school and receiving two degrees from UND - the latter a JD from UND School of Law; upon graduation, accepting a position in Seattle, WA, with a bank trust department.  With Bonnie"s  law degree in hand, a new adventure for the family was the move to the Seattle area after living 43 years in Grand Forks.   We are in our 25th year in the Bellevue/Issaquah, WA area.  Along with our home in Issaquah, we also have an ocean front home in Westport, WA and a winter home in Corte Bella Country Club, Sun City West, AZ.  Of course, perhaps, the biggest highlight is being married for 48 years, having 2 sons, and 2 grandsons.

We both love to travel and have seen most of the U.S. and Canada along with several trips to China, numerous trips to Europe (including Eastern Europe), Russia and Mexico.   We both enjoy gourmet food, cooking, music and fine art.  In our travels, art museums are high on our list.  We have been lucky to go to some of the finest museums in the world including the Lourve (Paris
), Hermitage (Russia), Reikes and Van Gough (Amsterdam) and other throughout the world.  Our two grandsons are very involved in sport and keep up busy going to football, basketball and baseball games.
Bonnie only went to Central for her senior year and was active in the Choraliers and Centralian Chorus.  Denni
s's experiences are probably too embarrassing to write about!

My wife, Marilyn Mowbray and I have been married for 43 years have 2 children and 2 grandchildren.  I  own a small business, Bron Tapes of Nevada, Inc., and am still working.  Over the past 50 years some of the most important highlights include meeting and marrying my wife, Marilyn, having and raising a great family and having  them all live in this area so we can all enjoy each other often and surviving and learning from the ups and downs which have allowed me to own and operate a successful business.

I play golf, travel the world with my friends and family and enjoy our home and the life style we have together.  I have lived in California, Washington, North Dakota and Nevada since graduating from Central.  I have lived the longest in Las Vegas and Henderson Nevada since 1982.  I moved to Nevada to start over after going bust in Southern California.

Some of my most favor
ite memories from Central High days include playing hockey for Surge Gambucci, Hob Nobs at the YWCA, parties at Judd Anderson's, and summers at Maple Lake and Bemidji. My favorite teacher would still be Marley Lockenn at South Junior High.  I am really looking forward to seeing everyone again in Grand Forks.  Thank you, Susan, and everyone else who is working to make this reunion the best.

Since graduating from Central we have lived in the Minneapolis area and Walnut Creek, CA.  We lived the longest in Burnsville, MN for 27 years.  Savage, where we live now, is next door to Burnsville.  We sold our home and moved into a town home.  Thank God!

Growing up in Grand Forks in the 50's was the best possible thing.  We had fun and good friends and freedom to walk and not be afraid.  Perhaps we were the last of the innocents.  We want to thank Susan for doing this.  We plan on attending this reunion and really enjoying it!

It will be 46 years on 8-17-09 since I married Margaret Wilker (C'60. We have 2 children, Patrick 44 and Amy 40.  We have 2 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren.

I sold my Business Brokerage Business in 2006, merged my Accounting Business in 2007 and retired. Currently I am managing my Real Estate investments and other investments. Thirty years of my career I worked for large construction companies, the last 10 years as COO.

Over the past 50 years, some of my most important highlights include: In 1963 I married my high school sweetheart after meeting her in a typing class (thus I never did learn how to type).  In 1965 (Patrick) and 1969 (Amy) we were blessed with two wonderful children. Patrick after graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill went on to become a lawyer, spent 10 years in the NC Senate (6 as minority leader) and was the Republican Nominee for Governor in 2004. We spent two exciting years traversing the state campaigning (unsuccessfully however).  Amy also graduated from UNC and is currently a CPA in Wilmington and Raleigh.  The final highlight(s) started in 1999 upon the birth of our grand-daughter Wilker (named after Margaret) and continues every day. Our grand-son was born in 2006, and we added 2 step-grand-kids when Amy got married in 2008

Margaret and I are both sports enthusiast's- both as spectators and watching on TV. We are avid UNC - Tar Heel fans- having season tickets for about 25 years, and huge UNCW - Seahawk fans since that is our local University. I have been on the Seahawk Board of Directors for over 20 years and serve as Chairman of their fund raising for athletic scholarships.  We love our grand-children and welcome the numerous opportunities we have taking care of them.

We have lived in five(5) places since graduating from Central: San Francisco, Cincinnati, Cleveland Ohio, Charlotte and Wilmington NC. We have been in Wilmington over 36 years, coming here for employment.

Some of my favorite memories from Central High days are arties, dances at the Y and many friends. A special thanks to Susan and her committee for all your hard work in putting the reunion together.

I have been married to Allen Olson for 44 years.  We have 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 1 step grandson.  I worked as a Chemical Awareness Coordinator with the Lakeville, MN, school system.  I am now volunteering at the Humane Society, playing golf and enjoying living close to our daughters and families.

Over the past 50 years the three most important highlights include the birth of our children, meeting Ronald Reagan and having dinner at the White House and climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro at age 67 with my daughter.    My favorite things to do include playing golf; walking dogs (three..Charlie, a standard Poodle, Abby, a Tibetan terrier and Betty, a little shelter something-or-other); movies; spending time at the local shelter working with the very shy/scared dogs and helping them to be more adoptable; training facilitators to run small support groups at our church and spending time with our grandchildren.  They are wonderful.

I have lived in 5 different places since graduating from Central, the longest in the Minneapolis area for 23 years.  We ended up living here when my husband, Al, lost an election for a second term as Governor of ND and was offered a position in a law firm in Minneapolis.

Some of my favorite memories from Central High days include Hob Nobs at the Y, lunch and dancing at noon at the Y, cheer leading, time spent at Marilyn and Barb's apartment, potluck, Judd Anderson's parties.  I will not remind anyone of my most embarrassing moment…I am still trying to forget it myself.  I remember Mrs. Ham was always so nice and Mr. Lang.  Of course, there was Mr. Sherwood.  Thank you, Susie, for getting this going.  Those were such important years and had a lot to do with who we are today.

I I have been married to my wife, Inge, for 16 years.  I was a barber for 41 years...in a barbershop in Seattle WA.  Now that I'm retired I spend my time playing golf.

Over the past 50 years the three most important highlights include going into the army in 1963, traveling - moving to Seattle and now moving to Sun City AZ.  It is the best place to live in my opinion -- the weather is great!  In addition to playing golf I enjoy car shows and the best dog I've even had, Mitzi, a Teddy Bear Pom.

I've lived in 7 different places since graduating from Central - living 25 years the longest.  I went to visit Darrell Homolka in Sun City AZ and fell in love with area.  Decided to move there too, with my wife, Inge.  She likes living here too.  Some of my most favorite memories from Central High School days include shop class, printing class, Driver's Ed.  Mr. Clark was my favorite teacher.
